Hollywood Field Trip: An Inside Look

If you’re anything like me, the day before going on a trip is always the most stressful. You’re scrambling to make sure that you have everything you need. Toothbrush? Check. Phone charger? Check. Passport? DOUBLE check.

However, above all the paranoia of forgetting something is the anticipation that you are about to embark on an amazing adventure! That my friends, is the best part about the day before leaving. It’s the can’t eat, can’t sleep excitement that propels us forward into an experience that will ultimately be life-changing.

Since my classmates and I started at VADA, we have all been eagerly waiting for the time to arrive that we get to leave for Los Angeles! It’s hard to believe that the time is already here. Despite having our itineraries, the “I wonder what will happen” feeling rests among us because prepared, or not prepared, we are about to spend four days gaining new perspectives, learning new skills and broadening the horizons of our futures. So, with a slightly stressed, but optimistic outlook, I look forward to the next few days in Hollywood!
